A.M.U . Riders M.C. , San Diego, CA was established initially as a Riding Club (R.C.) in 2004 by a group of seven core riders who hung out on a regular basis and rode together on weekends. As the members rode more, their skills increased. Their interest in the M.C. set also increased to the point to where they no longer just wanted to hang out and ride; they wanted to progress into something bigger and better; Two members forged ahead with a vision and went thru all the necessary red tape in order to turn from a recreational riding club to a full fledged non-profit motorcycle club. It was this vision and hard work of the founding President Kevin Maurice Jones aka "Big Mo" and Vice President and Lorenzo Smith aka "Tony" and the core members that made A.M.U. Riders M.C.; San Diego, CA possible. Currently, in the year 2008, four of the seven original members remain (Maurice Jones a.k.a "Big MO", Lorenzo Smith a.k.a "Tony", Mike Coffer a.k.a. "M.I.C.", and Aaron Johnson aka "Senior". Since it's establishment, the club has tremendously increased in its membership, and has added to it's repertoire, a Lady’s Auxiliary.
